Microwave Popcorn ~ Bag-less / Easy DIY

An easy, delicious and cost effective alternative to "store bought microwave popcorn", All you need is a microwave safe glass bowl and plate, popping corn, butter and salt or seasonings of choice and of course a microwave. The amount of pop corn can be adjusted to the size of your bowl...it may take a couple of tries to get the amount right. And of course microwave times may vary, just pay attention to the popping and when it slows to a few seconds in between pops. it should be done. Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we do.

Directions:

Add 1/3 popcorn kernels to your microwave safe bowl. Cover with plate (or microwave safe lid of some kind). Place in microwave for 4 minutes (smaller microwaves may take longer). Listen to the popping, when it slows to several seconds between pops, remove from microwave. Be Careful! Bowl will be Very hot.  Melt desired amount of butter and pour over. Add salt and seasonings as desired.

Enjoy!
